Margaret Stewart has been with our client for 18 months now and has been exceptional since day one. She has impressed her team members and we have received several praises from her managers. She has stepped in time after time and has been instrumental in driving each project forward while keeping everyone on task. She is kind, hardworking and just overall the employee everyone would dream to have.

Tell us about yourself, what’s your background?

Most of my career was spent working for as a government contractor with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  Although I have a degree in programming I gravitated to the operations side of IT.

I’ve held many different positions Help Desk, Unix Admin, Oracle Admin and Release Coordinator.

What do you like about working with Harvey Nash USA?

I got lucky when Harvey Nash found me after a layoff.  I had interviewed with several contractors but felt the best about Harvey Nash.  They placed me in a position as a Release Coordinator on a Cybersecurity team.  I’ve since moved into a position as Project Manager on the Cybersecurity team.

Can you tell us about your successes at work?

As a Release Coordinator I worked on an account migration project affecting 20,000+ user accounts.  My current projects involve hardening systems and environments.

Harvey Nash has been proactive in working with my manager and responsive to my requests.  From the initial negotiations and the checking in I don’t feel like they just want a fee like other contractors.  The benefits were better than I expected, so happily pleased.

Tell us something fun about yourself? Hobbies, playlist, favorite movies,

I like to read.  Mostly mysteries from serious to light.  I enjoy water aerobics to 60’s or 80’s ladies, Aqua Zumba, and Aqua Combat (kick boxing in water.)  I also like going to concerts.  Usually, entertainers who started out in the 60’s to 80’s.  I’m convinced performing is the fountain of youth as there are so many still performing in their 70’s.
