Congratulations to Rachel Hutto for Receiving Harvey Nash USA’s Employee Spotlight of the Month

Staffing Spotlight
Posting date: 28 October 2022

Recently, I got to see Rachel in action! It all started with a call from one of our clients who reached out to our team stating that a contractor didn’t report to work. Without hesitation, Rachel contacted the contractor to see if everything was okay. Unfortunately, they had a serious medical emergency at home alone, and her quick action led to the rapid deployment of a medical team. Thanks to Rachel, this story has a happy ending. This is all thanks to Rachel’s quick response to reach out, listen, and help make a difference in the life of a fellow Harvey-Nasher. It makes me so proud to work beside her! — Lisa Keiser (HR Director)

Rachel Hutto, Client Delivery Manager at Harvey Nash USA, 8 years

Tell us more about your business, how many people, what markets do you focus on?

I am a Client Delivery Manager in the US working out of the Franklin, TN office. I currently oversee a portfolio of 6 clients, mostly MSP clients with around 300+ contractors.

Tell us a bit about yourself, how long have you been with Harvey Nash Group, what’s your background?

I have been with Harvey Nash US for a little over 8 years. I have a degree in Elementary Education, but totally changed my career path right after college and first pursued a career in Sports Marketing and Event Planning. I was introduced to the staffing industry by a friend and former colleague and have happily been here ever since!

What’s the biggest opportunity for your business right now?

There are a few clients on my portfolio that we have been able to grow consistently over the last few years. However, our team is always looking for more strategic and efficient ways to further that growth to reach milestones we haven’t been able to reach before. I’m really excited about some changes we are making to better support our clients and contractors and to see what kind of growth we can accomplish in the new year.

…and what’s the biggest challenge?

I think the biggest challenge we are always facing is knowing how and where to shift our focus to best support our clients, especially in the current market and economy. Each day we are looking to find specific areas we can improve in amongst ourselves while also navigating the unique challenges that each of our clients present. But the growth I mentioned earlier, which is great, is also a consistent challenge! But I am proud to be a part of a team that is always been motivated to put in the work to reach those new heights.

What are you looking forward to this holiday season? Anything specific on your wishlist?

The holiday season is my absolute favorite time of the year, especially Christmas. I have loved Christmas since I was a little girl and taking part in all my family’s traditions. My husband Alex and I have a 2.5-year-old son, Jack, and starting our own family traditions has been so much fun. Jack loved Christmas last year, but I have a feeling at his current age it will be even more fun this year!

And finally…

What’s on your playlist?

Mostly country and Christian music at the moment!

Hobbies:

I love being outdoors and spending a lot of time at the beach, pool, and lake during the summer. I love to walk, run and work out (when I make time for it!), but lately my favorite thing is just making memories with Alex and Jack.

Dream vacation:

My husband and I would love to take our family to Hawaii one day!

Tell us something we don’t know about you?

I am a huge sports fan! I’ve grown up watching and attending games of the Tennessee Volunteers, Tennessee Titans, and the Atlanta Braves. Jack enjoys it now too which is so much fun!
