Alistair Robinson, CIMA, President, Executive Search
Alistair is a UK-chartered accountant. In 1997, after an early career in finance and accounting, he began his search career in the UK with Michael Page International with a focus on executing retained search in the functional CFO / COO market. At Michael Page his client portfolio included a number of U.S. corporate clients. Promoted to the Board of the company’s U.S. operation in 2000, Alistair relocated to New York.
Having successfully completed his three-year business plan with MPI, Alistair joined Harvey Nash Executive Search in early 2004 with the objective of building the U.S. Executive Search Business. Alistair has successfully positioned HNES as a boutique technology search firm with significant experience in the successful execution of executive search in the broad technology space and a highly regarded capability in partnership with companies pursuing digital transformation. HNES portfolio clients range from Private Equity (The Carlyle Group, Bain Capital) to Fortune 100 Companies including GE, MasterCard, Oracle, IBM and Ingram Micro.

Alex Halpert, VP, Executive Search
Following college graduation in 2006, Alex joined the Mergis Group in New York City to execute searches for quantitative / high frequency trading / algorithmic / risk technology leaders. His client portfolio included a number of bulge bracket investment banks and hedge funds.
In 2009 Alex was recruited to Harvey Nash’s US Executive search group to help develop the financial services technology practice. He was promoted to Director Research & Business Development, in this role he managed the research team and lead search execution across the broader technology practice with clients including: GE, MasterCard, Cognizant, Verint, Sage, Harte Hanks and also private equity and venture capital backed vehicles.
Today, Alex is VP, Harvey Nash Executive Search, consulting to companies with digital agendas to acquire the executive talent necessary to lead critical business transformation.
Alex has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Computer Science from Union College, in Schenectady NY.

Edward Tannenbaum, Research Associate
Edward Tannenbaum is responsible for assisting in sourcing candidates through targeted market mapping, database searching and networking. In addition to identifying talent, he manages candidate relationships and organizes interview logistics. Edward has collaborated on successful executive searches for clients from the software, digital industrial & IT services sectors.
Edward joined Harvey Nash in August 2016 after graduating from Columbia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
