Join ARA Houston at a Special SIM Houston Women’s Event on February 26
That Deviously Persistent Pay Gap
The pay gap for women in tech (and women in every sector) is a sly rascal. While smaller and sometimes harder to track than in previous decades, the pay gap endures and even grows with the age of the professional. Why does it persist? What can individuals, managers and businesses do to spur its demise?
Join Anna Frazzetto, CDTO & President, Technology Solutions at Harvey Nash, and National Chair of the tech mentoring non-profit ARA, for an examination of the factors that contribute to the pay gap and an interactive discussion on what can be done to make lasting and worthwhile change.
Starting with data from the 2019 Harvey Nash and ARA Women in Tech Survey, Frazzetto will provide a research-based assessment of where the gender gap sits today and the drivers behind it. She will then lead the audience in a discussion about what’s working, what’s not, and how rising generations might influence the approach to overcoming this persistent challenge.
You won’t want to miss out on this opportunity to learn and grow from some of the smartest women gathered for this exciting event for the Houston tech community.
